Happy Families
I had a very unique experience this afternoon on this lovely public holiday. My parents made a passing comment today that the songs I write all so down and depressing, and said I should write a “happy song”. To that I replied I only really write when I’m down or upset so that’s what comes out!
Anyway today with the co-writing assistance of my mother I wrote a ‘happy song’. Mum really surprised me today with her hidden talent for lyric writing and together we came up with a family based song, more specifically about my grandparents life. It could be even worthy of playing at the next family gathering!! I have big plans for this song as I am taking it to play to my grandma next week and if she can change just one of the lines that will mean we will have a (Lukas, Noack and Noack jnr) three generation song writing credit. I wonder if that has ever been done before????????
