Ups and Downs.
Life has a way of reminding us that the ups nor downs don't last for long. So far, this has been a pretty topsy turvy week. Monday was the best day I’ve had in a while. The kids and staff at school were a dream, the kids learnt and I had fun, which is the perfect combo. The afternoon got better when Megan and I wrote our first song together and the more I think about the song, the more I like it and can’t wait to share it on friday night with everyone that is coming to the gig. Song writing usually is a solitary experience for me so it’s great to have created something with Megan. I am really hoping this is only the start and we keep writing together in the true meaning of Synergy!!
Now onto the rest of the week so far. Schools have been a nightmare. We get a new timetable at each school during week 3 of the term. Yesterdays had so many changes. I had to deal with angry teachers, confused kids, and they had to deal with me in a sleep deprived state (but what’s new, I always have my best friend the V drink), not a good combo. Today got slightly better until I got to my Wednesday school and was told school photos were on. Ich, I nearly walked out on the school but reminded myself to be professional and try to figure it all out. Anyway the kids all got taught, and I stayed sane.
The evening didn’t improve too much as I had my piano lesson with my teacher. My exam is in 10 days time and the lesson went pretty poorly. She thinks I am doing the exam in a bit of a rush, but I figure out why wait. I’ll try and get through it now, but if not there is always April. I am busting to chuck away the grade 6 pieces and open a brand new grade 7 book. That is THE best part about exams. Sorta like the feeling of chucking uni notes in the bin after an exam. Anyway I’ll give it my best and see what happens.
I was in a pretty despondent mood when I got home but when it started to rain I thought I’d check in on a favourite past time, running in the rain. So I decided to revisit the Eaglemont Hills to relieve a bit of tension. Feeling on top of the world now.
Anyway I thought I’d use the blog for a whinge, ah much better now.
Cheers,
Ingrid:)

*is a little nervous because we've built it up so much*

You lie! You lie like a lion!
I don't get it......:S
Yeah, you say that now!
You throw your uni notes in the bin after an exam?!!
absolutely, although when i am studying I re-write things. So really I just thrown out my re writings of notes. Keep the originals in case I need to know about them one day. Haven't needed them yet but there is always 'one day'.
