The school holidays are coming to a close and I'm kinda looking forward to going back to work. I do like my work so it's not a drag going back. I have some new schools I am working at and I"m pretty exciting about starting work at my old primary school Heidleberg Primary. Some of my old teachers are still around and of course I can say g'day to Mum in the staffroom at lunchtime!!

I have to admit I have a liking for Shannon Noll. I'm a big girl now so I can handle the ridicule that will come my way but as manufacturered as he is his songs are pretty catchy and relaxing. I bought his first cd today and will look to get his most recent one in the next few weeks.

The highlight of my day today was coming across a book with all Paul Kellys song lyrics in it from the past 20 years. Quality. I haven't seen him play live since I went with Jacqui when we were 14 so maybe it's time to catch him live again.

Best get to sleep, I need to get out of my nocturnal frame of mind before school starts on Tuesday.

cheers,

Ingrid:)

Photos

Below are some pics from a Synergy gig before christmas.
There is also a tired pic of Erin and I after climbing up the Grampians. It's sad to hear about the bushfires up there currently and I hope that they can be contained so Halls Gap doesn't get affected.

cheers,

Ingrid.

The joys of being a teacher

Gotta love school holidays and the endless Summer. I'm going down camping this week for only the second time and checking out Apollo Bay. Can't wait to enjoy a few relaxing days down the beach and finally a chance for my first Boogie board of the summer.

Gigging has been slack lately but Megan and I have a plan to get fully up and playing soon so watch this space.

cheers,

Ingrid:)
